Il pourrait donc quitter l'Italie, un an seulement après être arrivé. D'après les dernières rumeurs, le dernier champion du Portugal pourrait sauter sur l'occasion pour signer 'El Fideo'.
Passé par Lisbonne pendant 2 saison (de 2008 à 2010), il pourrait retrouver un club qui l'avait revelé au grand public.
Mais d'après Fabrizio Romano, son arrivée est encore loin d'être actée. Les pourparlers n'ont pas encore commencé et Benfica n'est pas la seule option pour Di Maria. Des clubs saoudiens font également de l'oeil à l'ancienne star du PSG mais sa priorité reste l'Europe. Affaire à suivre donc.
