Irlande : Ryan McBride, le capitaine de Derry City, est décédé

Triste nouvelle en Irlande du Nord. Le capitaine du club de Derry City, Ryan McBride, âgé de 27 ans, a été retrouvé sans vie à son domicile dimanche.

La veille, il avait participé à la victoire 4-0 de son équipe face à Drogheda United en championnat.

Les causes de son décès sont inconnues à l'heure actuelle. "La nouvelle est très dure à encaisser", a déclaré le président du club, Phil O'Doherty, à la 'BBC'.

Les messages de soutien se multiplient ce lundi matin. Le match de Championnat prévu entre Derry City et Limerick, qui devait se tenir mardi, a été reporté à une date ultérieure par respect pour le défunt.
